About the Course
Our Indigenous Studies classes (formerly known as Native American Studies classes) have been immensely popular, but the material has been most appropriate for older learners. What about all those kids out there?
Indigenous Studies for Aunties (and Uncles) is appropriate for caretakers of youth and the youth themselves. It will provide educational, age-appropriate materials that aunties, uncles, grandparents, and of course dads and moms can use at home. Course materials will be differentiated by age group (age 4 and up) so that no matter how old your young people are, you'll be able to share with them.

Why solicit donations for this course? Chickadee believes in paying our speakers. We pay every speaker who appears in our programming, as well as all the artists who license us their artwork, like John Isaiah Pepion, above.
We also cover the course platform and zoom fees and other costs associated with maintaining mailing lists and email functionality. There's a lot to pay for! For those who can afford a donation, it is a good way to give back.
